- כֶּרַעc. (b. h.; cmp. כָּרָה) (hollow, cmp. בֶּרֶךְ, knee, leg. Zeb.VIII, 5 כַּרְעוֹ שלוכ׳ the leg of one of them (Talm. ed. 77b כרעים du.). Kel. XVIII, 7 כ׳ שהיתהוכ׳ a kneeshaped piece of wood which became unclean … and which one fastened to a bedstead; Tosef. ib. B. Mets. IX, 3. Ib.
